Conagra cuts dividend by 50% in 2026

Conagra Brands (NYSE: CAG) announced a sharp dividend reduction on July 15, 2026, cutting its quarterly dividend by 50.0% to $0.175 per share.

The latest reduction represents the third dividend cut for Conagra Brands over the past two decades. The company previously reduced its payout by about 20% in 2016. Based on a share price of $14.28, the new annualized dividend yield is approximately 4.9%. The ex-dividend date is July 30, 2026.

After keeping its dividend unchanged in 2024 and 2025, Conagra Brands announced a 50.0% dividend cut in 2026. Prior to that, the company increased its dividend by 6.1% in 2023, 5.6% in 2022, 13.6% in 2021, and 29.4% in 2020.

Conagra Brands is a U.S. packaged food company with a portfolio of well-known consumer brands including Birds Eye, Healthy Choice, Marie Callender's, Slim Jim, Reddi-wip, and Hunt's.

The Conagra dividend cut comes after Flowers Foods also announced a 50% dividend cut earlier in 2026.
