Crown Crafts cuts dividend by 62.5%

Crown Crafts (CRWS) will cut its dividend by 62.5% to 3 cents quarterly per share in 2026. This ends 16 consecutive years with steady or growing dividend payments by the provider of infant, toddler and juvenile consumer products.

Crown Crafts last hiked the dividend in 2012 and has paid a quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share since. This big cut ends a long track record but keeps the dividend yield high at 4.1% at a stock price of $2.85.

The company's revenue has been under pressure in the last couple of years with operating margins dropping to just a little over 1% for FY 2026 that ended this March. Other companies are also struggling, including The Children's Place (PLCE), that already cut its dividend back in 2019.
