Yum! Brands, Inc. (YUM) will lower its dividend from $0.51 to $0.30 quarterly following the Yum China Holdings separation.

Conagra Brands cuts dividend by 20%

Conagra Brands, Inc. (CAG), formerly ConAgra Foods, will lower its quarterly dividend from $0.25 to $0.20 per share.

Liberty Property Trust cuts dividend by 15.8%

Liberty Property Trust (LPT) will lower its quarterly dividend to $0.40 per share. Liberty Property Trust is a real estate investment trust. The Company's industrial properties consist of a range of warehouse, distribution, service, assembly, light manufacturing, and research and development facilities. Its office properties consist of metro-office buildings and multi-story and single-story office buildings located principally in suburban mixed-use developments or office parks.

CoreCivic cuts dividend by 22.2%

CoreCivic, formerly Corrections Corporation of America (CXW), will lower its quarterly dividend from $0.54 to $0.42 per share.

Comtech cuts dividend by 66.7%

Comtech Telecommunications Corp (CMTL) will lower its quarterly dividend from $0.30 to $0.10 per share.

Johnson Controls cuts dividend by 13.8% following spin-off

Johnson Controls International plc (JCI) will lower its quarterly dividend from $0.29 to $0.25 per share following it's merger earlier this year with Tyco International and the Adient separation (October 31st). The quarterly cash dividend payment of $0.25 per share will be payable on Jan. 6, 2017, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Dec. 14, 2016. Johnson Controls has paid a consecutive dividend since 1887. Based on a $43.73 stock price the new $1 per share annual dividend translates into an estimated yield of 2.3%. JCI offers air systems, building management, HVAC controls, security, and fire safety solutions.
